“Supporting the Journey for the Next Generation”

NEW YORK, N.Y., Tuesday, August 28, 2007—Asociación Tepeyac de New York will host its
annual benefit, “Builders of the Future”, on Thursday, September 13, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Wallace Hall in New York City.

This event is being organized by a group of professionals concerned about the future of Latino
children and youth. This group, the Friends of Tepeyac, came together to organize what it promises to be the most successful fundraising of Asociacion Tepeyac, a non-profit organization serving Latinos from the five boroughs of New York City.

This campaign is being conducted focusing on a strong will to lead, excitement, energy and enthusiasm.

The goal is to raise $150, 000 using peer-to-peer fund raising. The purpose is to reach
at least 1,000 more unprivileged youth by implementing initiatives focused on drop-out prevention, academic achievement, human development, and leadership.

The Friends of Tepeyac, also known as the benefit committee, is targeting wealthy individuals
and using direct mailing to invite their colleagues, employers, friends and other overlooked individuals to become part of these extraordinary efforts and directly impacting the lives of youth.

In this event Tepeyac will be honoring corporate and community leaders who have made outstanding
contributions in the support of the Latino immigrant community through “Builders of the Future Award”, “Leaders of the Present Award”, and “Tepeyac Excellence Award”.

The recipients of the “Builders of the Future Award” are Luis J. Echarte, the Chairman of Azteca
America Network, Jay Hershenson, the CUNY Vice-Chancellor, Brian O’Dwyer, from the Law Firm O’Dwyer & Bernstein, and Lillian Rodriguez-Lopez, the Executive Director of Hispanic Federation.
