A native of Puerto Rico with more than 15 years experience, Nancy Agosto is undoubtedly among the top journalists. She received a total of four Golden Microphone Awards , including one for her investigative series, La Otra Frontera, about the suffering of immigrants crossing the border from Central America to Mexico and her series " Ciudad Envenenada", a special report on the industrial contamination affecting Latin Americans living near areas where waste is disposed.

Nancy has also won El Premio Guillermo Martínez presented by the Asociación Nacional de Periodistas Hispanos (NAHJ), for her series La Ruta de la Muerte and two Emmy Awards, one of them for her courageous and in depth reporting about the Los Angeles riots.

In addition, Nancy has coverage many significant world events, including Pope Juan Paul II's visit to Cuba , the historic meeting between President Reagan and Soviet President Mikail Gorbachev and the rise of the Zapatistas in Chiapas, Mexico.
