Correspondent, producer and anchorman.  The man behind and in front of the camera of Azteca America's network news block is Armando Guzmán.  Born in Mexico Armando studied in Quebec, Canada and received a BS in business administration and post graduate studies in marketing from the University of San Francisco.

Armando has created a strong name and presence for himself in Washington DC. For almost two decades he has covered the Capitol and the White House.  Since the mid 1980's he has being the lead correspondent reporting on every single major story from Washington DC, first with Univision and most recently for TV Azteca and Azteca America. 

His journalistic work has been recognized as a factor in giving American Spanish Language Television News, credibility and respect in the nation's capital, in the United States, and in Latin America.  In chronicles about media, it has been written that through the years Armando has distinguished himself with strong reporting and has been recognized for putting Spanish Language media in our nations capital map. 

Working the corridors of power he has become one of the most respected and recognized faces of Spanish language journalism and of Latino television in the United States.  His experience and dedication have made him a trusted personality.  His name is associated with serious journalism and has gained him recognition and respect not only within America's Latino community, but also in our hemisphere.
